Original U.S. Civil War Enlisted Man’s Blackened Buff Leather Waist Belt with Model 1839 Belt Buckle 16th Century indicating manufacture by Springfield ArmoryOriginal Item: Only One Available. Civil War Federal Issue Enlisted Mans Waist Belt with Model 1839 Belt Buckle. The Belt is in excellent condition considering its age, showing obvious signs of honest wear, and age from decades in storage. The belt is constructed of two inch wide blackened buff leather, and is fitted with a circa 1863 brass belt keeper, which was an improvement over the earlier model M 1855 Waist belt which had an integrally sewn loop
